Yoga Retreat Holidays Guide to Balancing Your Doshas
All articles Finding Your Balance ~
Ayurveda, yoga’s ancient sister science, teaches that everything around and inside us is made of five basic elements: earth, water, fire, air and space. Inside our bodies, these elements mix together to form three distinct energies called doshas.
Think of your dominant dosha as your personal mind-body blueprint. It influences everything from how fast your metabolism runs to how you react to stress. When your doshas are in harmony, you feel vibrant, clear headed and deeply grounded. But when life gets hectic, an imbalance can leave you feeling burned out, anxious or dealing with a sluggish gut. Getting back into alignment starts with knowing where you stand.
Take our recommended free quick Dosha Quiz to discover your unique type and scroll down to find the best foods and movement to help you feel like yourself again.
